Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, received a report from the two wholesale companies (public – Egyptian) about the availability of live sheep in them. The incoming report indicated that His Excellency had established 39 exihibits affiliated to the two companies in the governorates of the Republic. The wholesale companies confirmed that the prices of live sheep are 90 pounds for the existing kilo of them, stressing that these sheep are subjected to a veterinary medical examination. And follow-up medically, moment by moment, In addition to conforming to the Odheya in terms of physical and medical safety as well, The report received from the two companies confirmed that the weights of live sheep vary between 40 and 70 kilograms.
Ahmed Kamal Official Spokesperson: The exihibts are open from now until the third day of Eid, fresh Sudanese meat is 115 pounds, frozen Brazilian meat is 85 pounds, and chilled lamb is 135 pounds.
The official spokesman for the ministry, the assistant minister, Mr. Ahmed Kamal, stated that these exihibits are open to citizens from now until the third day of Eid to provide for the citizens’ needs. He added that the ministry, in preparation for the blessed Eid al-Adha, pumps 120 tons of fresh Sudanese meat daily at a price of 115 pounds per kilo. And 40 tons of frozen Brazilian meat also at a price of 85 pounds per kilo after the reduction of Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, to relieve the citizen on that occasion.
