Nevin Gamea: The new formation includes distinguished competencies and expertise in various sectors of economic cooperation between Egypt and Germany
Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, issued a decision to restructure the Egyptian side in the Egyptian-German Business Council headed by Dr. Nader Riad. Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Bavaria Company, and the membership of each of the Eng. Hani Azer, member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the President of the Republic, And Eng. Ahmed Sadiq Al-Suwaidi, El-Sewedy Electric Company, And Eng. Samih Sawiris, Orascom Hotels and Development Company, and Dr. Ahmed Fikri Abdel Wahab, Aja Automotive Industry, and Hamed Al Sheety, Travco Tourism, Engineer Saeed Nayel, Lenin Group, Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University, and Dr. Samir Al-Najjar, Daltex Agricultural Development Company, Dr. Walid Gamal El Din, Chairman of the Export Council for Building Materials, and Sherif El Maghraby, Mafa Agricultural Crops Company, and Omar Muhanna, Alexandria Tire Company, and Karim Sami Saad, the Egyptian German Motors Company, Helmy Issa, Nahdet Misr Company, And Eng. Alaa Diab, the Modern Agricultural Company (Pico), Engineer Tolba Rajab Tolba TNC Readymade Garments Company, and Karim Najjar, Kayan Trading Company, And Hani, Secretary of the Oriental Weavers Company, and Hussam El Din Hassan Jabr, Lotus High Fashion Readymade Garments Company.
The resolution stipulated that the council’s work term would be 3 years from the date of its publication in the Egyptian Gazette, and ensured that the head of the Egyptian side would submit a semi-annual periodic report on the council’s efforts and activities to the Minister of Trade and Industry, including the council’s activity, suggestions and future plans for the development of common interests between the two countries, And that the concerned Egyptian authorities and Egyptian embassies abroad, as well as commercial offices, assist the Council in carrying out its tasks and facilitate the exercise of its functions and provide it with the data or information it requests related to its activities.
Gamea explained that the restructuring of the Egyptian side in the Egyptian-German Business Council comes within the framework of the great momentum witnessed by the relations between the two countries at the governmental and private levels, by working to strengthen the movement of trade exchange, joint investments and industrial cooperation, which is in the interest of the Egyptian and German economies. Pointing out that the new formation of the Egyptian side in the council includes a group of competencies and expertise in the sectors that represent the basis of economic cooperation between Egypt and Germany.
This decision comes in the wake of the round of talks held by the Minister of Trade and Industry two weeks ago during her visit to the German capital, Berlin, where the Minister stressed, during her meeting with Dr. shared between the two countries.
