Hassan Abdullah, the acting governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, decided to appoint Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, the former head of the Commercial International Bank, and Mohamed Naguib, the former head of the Saib Bank, as his advisors.
This came during a meeting held by Abdullah today, Wednesday, with the current leaders of banks operating in the Egyptian market and a number of former leaders in a Cairo hotel.
Sources who attended the meeting said that the meeting witnessed a discussion of the conditions of the banking sector and its role in alleviating the problems that the Egyptian economy suffers from. on top of them is the dollar crisis.
The sources added that the meeting was characterized by great cordiality between the Acting Governor of the Central Bank and the leaders of the banks.
