The Minister received a report from Shahat Ghaturi, Head of the Customs Authority, He indicated that the Central Administration of Sokhna Customs, It released 6,614 customs certificates included in last July. for multiple classes of strategic goods, and general merchandise such as: “Wheat, sugar, legumes, corn, components of air conditioning, refrigerators, fans, fabrics, wood, threads, mobile phone accessories, toys, And auto parts.”
The report added, The total taxes and customs fees collected from the import certificates at the Sokhna customs amounted to 606 million and 783 thousand pounds. While the total value-added taxes and other fees collected on these certificates amounted to about one billion and 988 million and 731 thousand pounds.
The report explained, The Department of Exports at Sokhna Customs, Last July, it exported 973 customs declarations with a total of 8826 containers. Most of its varieties are: sand, phosphate, fiberglass, marble, With a total value of 2 billion and 44 million and 329 thousand pounds, The collected export fees amounted to 644 thousand pounds.
The report indicated that the total collected taxes and customs duties, and other taxes and fees collected at Sokhna customs, Last July, it amounted to 2,595 million and 515 thousand pounds.
