Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Health and Population, visited Accompanied by Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, President of the Public Authority for Health Care, Saturday, Al Sabaa Abar Al Sharqiah Family Medicine Unit Ismailia Governorate, To follow up the workflow of the comprehensive health insurance system, which was launched in the governorate on February 16, last year, 2021.Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, said: That the minister reviewed the family medicine files at the center to find out the registration rates, The total number of files registered in the unit reached 9,319 family files. This is since the start of registration in the new system in the governorate starting from October 2019.
Abdul Ghaffar added that the minister reviewed the data of the beneficiaries registered on the unit’s electronic system, which amounted to 20,482 beneficiaries, noting that the unit provided comprehensive medical examination services to 21,791 citizens. It includes clinics (internal, emergency, women, family medicine, dentistry), to check on the medical services provided to patients in the new system, pointing out that 36,856 family medicine services are provided within the clinics.
Abdul Ghaffar pointed out, That the Minister was keen during his tour to check the waiting places of those who frequent the unit, To determine the extent of their satisfaction with the medical services provided to them within the new system, and to check on their health condition and to ensure that they receive medical services in accordance with the standards, Where the unit serves about 22,000 citizens in the “Sab’a Abbar al-Sharqiah” area.accompanied the Minister during his visit, Dr. Anwar Ismail, Assistant Minister of Health for National Projects Affairs, Dr. Hazem El-Fil, Head of Therapeutic Medicine Sector, Dr. Ahmed Al-Borai, Head of the Health Care Authority branch in Ismailia Governorate.
