Tarek Amer to head the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank next October

The World Bank Group has selected Tarek Amer, The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt to chair the upcoming annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund scheduled to be held in October 2022, In the presence of central bank governors and finance ministers of the participating countries.

Amer will deliver the opening speech for the meetings, along with the President of the World Bank and the Director of the International Monetary Fund. He will also chair the Board of Governors of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
