Dr. Ali Al-Moselhy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, confirmed that the consumer complexes have all the needs of citizens of food commodities with discounts of up to 25%, adding that the Holding Company for Food Industries has pumped large quantities of all kinds of goods into them.
Al-Moselhi received a report from the Holding Company for Food Industries, and the report received by His Excellency stated that the consumer complexes will open their doors daily to citizens from the morning to provide their needs of food commodities, in addition to disbursing them the food commodities prescribed on the support card by the supply outlets as well.
The incoming report pointed out that there are more than 1,100 types of these commodities and are pumped daily into consumer complexes, with the intensification of exhibits in case of increased demand from citizens.
For his part, Ahmed Kamal, the official spokesman for the ministry, the assistant minister, said that the report received from the holding company also included the establishment of a central operations room in each of the wholesale companies and complex companies to follow up the availability of goods and open complexes alternately according to the decisions specified for that. Supply and internal trade has stressed the oversight sectors in the ministry and the supply directorates by tightening control over commercial and supply activities to follow up on the availability and quality of goods and announcing prices on each commodity. As well as outlets for the exchange of food commodities also during the Eid holiday by the outlets of the ministry.
