During the committee meeting, Yaqout reviewed the committee’s strategy during the remaining months of 2022, which focuses on expanding women’s financing programs and training them to set up projects in all governorates in cooperation with all parties, as well as erasing women’s digital illiteracy in light of the digital transformation that the state is currently implementing and introducing the tax bill. The committee also participated in workshops in Cairo and Alexandria on how to register trademarks, the Egyptian-Pakistani and Egyptian-Lithuanian Friendship Day, the Swedish Embassy’s Women’s Day, the Intra-African Trade and Investment Forum, the Egyptian-Czech Business Forum, and discussed ways of joint cooperation with the President of the Saudi Northern Border Chamber.
The meeting also reviewed the efforts made by members of the general committee, heads of women’s committees in a number of chambers of commerce.
